We are thrilled to celebrate an exciting milestone—our fifth year of partnership with Sevilla FC Academy at Shekou International School!
As our relationship continues to grow stronger, Sevilla FC Academy will further integrate with the SIS community by proudly wearing a unified logo during games and tournaments. This symbolizes not just a partnership, but a shared commitment to developing student-athletes within our vibrant Gecko community.

For the 2026–27 season, the academy will feature seven teams:
U5, U6, U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15, serving students from PreK through Grade 9.

🏆Athletic Awards Recap – Celebrating Our Geckos
This semester, we proudly recognized athletes from across our 2nd semester sports programs, including:
MS Table Tennis, HS Basketball, MS Volleyball, HS Soccer, HS Badminton, Track & Field, and MS Basketball, alongside our School Record Breakers and Athletic Director’s Award recipients.
🌟 Athletic Director’s Award Honorees
MS Girls – Olivia H.
A remarkable all-around athlete, Olivia earned SIS MVP honors in four sports, captained three teams, and was recognized across SISAC and SDRC competitions. Her leadership, humility, and positivity make her a true role model in our community.
MS Boys – Jahan K.
Jahan’s year was defined by excellence and quiet leadership. A captain in three sports, multi-award recipient, and record-breaker in Track & Field, he embodies sportsmanship, dedication, and team-first values.
HS Girls – Celina W.
Celina has led both on and off the court—excelling in volleyball with SISAC and ACAMIS honors while serving as President of Athletic Council and also being a member of the football squad. Her leadership has strengthened and inspired the SIS athletic community.
HS Boys – Gabriel B.
A consistent and driven athlete, Gabriel excelled in basketball and soccer, earning SISAC and ACAMIS recognition. His discipline, growth mindset, and leadership by example set a high standard for all.
